Sales Promotions
We offer a wide selection of sales promotions on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
These include the following:

- Subject Specific
- Product Launches
Many of our promotions are exclusively available through CBL, using original
point of purchase designs. We can also produce bespoke
promotions for exclusive CBL customers to meet their particular
objectives. In addition we can offer the majority of publisher
promotions.
Public Relations
CBL's Marketing Department includes a dedicated team working to gain coverage of
computer books and CD-ROMs in a variety of media. We frequently
obtain reviews, competitions and features in media including
local and national papers, lifestyle and specialist magazines
and Internet sites. In addition to general product PR, we can
offer our services to customers holding special promotions or
events in store, to gain editorial coverage through our
extensive database of media contacts.
Advertising
In the past we have been responsible for several major
advertising campaigns in the national press. These, supported by
radio advertising, in-store promotions and window displays, were
used to raise awareness of computer books in the consumer
market.
We also advertise, both nationally and locally on a smaller scale, to
support specific products or promotions and in specific
channels. We can offer our expertise in this area to our
exclusive customers and assist in campaign management and
design.
Catalogues/Brochures
The CBL Source is a quarterly catalogue supplied free to all stores on
request. Featuring product related articles, advertising and
competitions, it showcases a wide selection of Computer
Bookshops' product range including multimedia items,
best-selling books and CD Roms.
The cover of the catalogue can be customised to meet a store's
individual requirements*.
We can also supply publisher catalogues and literature on request.
Exhibitions
Computer Bookshops® regularly attend the London Book Fair (LBF) and
various other shows throughout the year.
All are welcome to visit our sales, marketing and product teams
on the stands at these events.
